Course content
On completion, you will be able to:
- Understand the role of the coach as a developer of others
- Build relationships and commitment and establish a partnership for coaching and mentoring
- Identify the right situations in which to take a coaching approach and understand how that delivers successful business outcomes
- Demonstrate coaching skills using the latest coaching models to structure and make coaching meetings more effective.
- Prepare and carry out a coaching or mentoring plan for someone within your organisation
- Complete the coaching cycle through evaluation of the coaching plan
- Evaluate outcomes and turn these into performance indicators
- Review the ethical issues involved in performing the role of coach or mentor
